Thanks for sharing these plans, they are helpful.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you will add it to my Pre History Link Up, which can be found here - http://ourworldwideclassroom.blogspot.com/2010/10/way-back-when-charles-darwin-beagle.html
Looking forward to seeing your posts as you work thorugh this unit. :-)
Thanks Kylie. That is a great idea for a link-up!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love your plan. It will really help me get my head around things before we embark on a similar journey next year. I've always thought my own education in this area was lacking so we're going to learn together this year.
ReplyDeleteHi! I hope you can help me. I'm hoping to follow some of this lesson plan, but I'm having a hard time finding DK Eyewitness Books Prehistoric Life. There are so many versions, but none that I can find seem to have more than 40 pages, and none have a workbook. Would you mind posting the ISBN?
ReplyDeleteThe DK Eyewitness Book I have is ISBN 978-0-7566-5845-8. It looks like I bought it at BJ's.
ReplyDeleteIt combines four other books in one cover: Prehistoric Life, Early Humans, Dinosaur, and Prehistoric Life Workbook.
Thank you so much for sharing these plans! I've been working on a 6 week prehistory course for my rising fourth grader, and this information has been tremendously helpful. It's very well organized, and has enough fun stuff to keep him interested. I can't wait to read through all of your history posts next!
ReplyDeleteLori, I'm glad you find them useful. :-)
